Aimé Leon Dore and Porsche Team Up for Porsche 356 B Redesign

New York City fashion and lifestyle brand Aimé Leon Dore and German sports car maker Porsche have recently presented their latest collaboration: a redesign of the Porsche 356 B model from 1960.

The two companies previously joined forces to restore 911 Carrera 4 in 2020 and 911 SC in 2021. Now it came time for Aimé Leon Dore to put its stamp on Porsche 356 B, and the results are stunning.

The car was painted Midnight Blue and fitted with white wall tires and aluminum wheels for an eye-pleasing look. The front and back bumpers were removed to enhance its elegant lines, while the engine grill was adorned with badges characteristic of cars participating in motorsport events in the 1960s.

The interior also received a tasteful redesign highlighted by leather seats that combine Midnight Blue and tartan patterns. The wooden steering wheel, taken from the 356 Carrera 2 model, completes the retro feel of the car.

The redesigned Porsche 356 B is currently on display at Aimé Leon Dore’s New York City flagship store located at 224 Mulberry Street.

“The attention to detail and honest craftsmanship is a true testament to the design principles between Porsche and Aimé Leon Dore,” Teddy Santis, CEO & Creative Director of Aimé Leon Dore, said in a statement. “Having the opportunity to display our Porsche 356 in our New York City flagship symbolizes our commitment to excellence and is the pinnacle representation of our partnership that continues to evolve with each project.”
