Iranian illustrator Alireza Padkel’s art focuses on the problems with today’s society. His illustrations are a reflection of issues that we’re all aware of but perhaps don’t think about them very often. Many people today are affected by these problems and raising awareness is the first step in solving such things.
Padkel describes himself as an editorial cartoonist, character designer, caricaturist, and illustrator. His Instagram page has 75k followers and serves as a portfolio of his diverse work. Some of the themes he covers include capitalism, technology, consumerism, ecology, etc.

In 2020, he shared a series of illustrations showing the sacrifice of doctors and other health professionals during the Covid-19 pandemic. It’s one of the many important themes he covered with his art so far.
