Do watching movies and TV shows for living sound like your dream job? Well, if you are from Australia, that dream job might become a reality.
Amazon Prime recently announced that they are opening a new position called Prime Video Buff. The job will require you to spend three months watching TV shows and movies before recommending the best to the Australian audience.
Besides the obvious, the job includes many benefits that are hard to pass on. The selected candidate will get a salary of $40K, access to red carpets, and a fancy Prime Video Buff chair, among other perks.
However, in order to properly do the job, you will be required to watch a wide range of content and not just the one you like. This includes anything from superhero movies and action thrillers to romantic comedies and spaghetti westerns.
“We want someone who just kinda loves talking about content and recommending the best, giving opinions freely, and feels comfortable talking over the camera,” Prime Video Australia/executive Sarah Christie explained.
Candidates who are interested in applying will be required to submit a short video (under two minutes) that shows why they are the best person for the job. So get that camera rolling and good luck.
