When she first started Pizza Cake Comics, Ellen wanted to illustrate her everyday life and the funny situations that come with it. But soon enough, the artist herself stopped being the main character. Instead, her cat became the star of the comics and stole the spotlight.
She adopted the cat around the same time she started working on Pizza Cake Comics. The kitty proved to be quite playful and willing to do everything it took to get some attention. Naturally, this resulted in numerous funny situations and ideas that Ellen could use in her comics.
She started featuring her cat more prominently in the webcomics, and it proved to be quite a success. Now, Ellen turns to the cat for the majority of inspiration and doesn’t mind allowing it to be the leading star of the show.
