French artist Inès Pagniez currently lives in London, where she creates quirky characters using plasticine and takes photos of them in various situations. Paginez studied computer graphics in France, and that’s where she developed a love for the field. However, she then worked in the 3D animation field for seven years and recently decided it was time to move away from digital art.
That’s when the sculpting came in, as well as her newfound love for bringing comical, heartfelt characters into the world.
Her sculptures are charming, colorful, and energetic, and the details are incredible. We especially love their faces, with the characters having small noses, dots for eyes, funky hairstyles, and expressive clothes.
Even though her creations may look childish and playful, Paginez is all about hard work. It takes her hours to finish each piece and that requires great attention to detail and a lot of patience.
