Crafter Creates Miniature Replicas Of People’s Pets

Dayna McFadden is a 32-year-old self-taught 3D Fibre artist based in the UK. She creates miniature replicas of people’s fur buddies, bringing them back to life.

Her artistic journey began two years ago when she stumbled upon by accident whilst Christmas shopping.“I have always been a lover of art and did well with the subject in school,” she wrote on Bored Panda. “With this, I became intrigued to know what Needle Felting was. After a quick search, I came across the entire world of Fibre Art and Artists alike. I ordered my first kit, not having a clue what I was doing and off I went on my felting journey.”

In her art, she even incorporates their real pet’s hair, fur or ashes for more sentimentality. She says that the eyes are the most important aspect of her work.

“These really do give my sculptures that soulful look and it’s what makes them come alive,” she added.
