After years of anticipation, the first of many Game of Thrones sequels that HBO has in store is finally here! House of the Dragon premiered on Sunday night, and the pilot created quite a splash on Twitter, with many fans sharing hilarious memes about the series.
If you’re a passionate GOT fan, you already know that House of the Dragon chronicles the beginning of the end of the House Targaryen. It’s set 200 years before the events of the original series (or “172 years before Daenerys Targaryen” as the intro states), and it chronicles the war of succession between the Targaryens which will eventually lead to the “Dance of the Dragons”.
