If LEGO and food happen to be two of your biggest obsessions, Hypno Motion videos are just the thing you need in your life. Their creator Andrew became a true sensation on TikTok and Instagram once he started recording videos that show him making LEGO versions of our favorite comfort foods.
Hypno Motion is the brainchild of the 30-year-old filmmaker and stop-motion animator Andrew, who’s based in Poland. His viral LEGO cooking videos have been seen by millions of people, and he built a huge following since he started sharing them, attracting 1.5 million TikTok followers and 330,000 followers.
Andrew started his journey on social media by sharing ASMR videos of food but later switched to using LEGO bricks to make his viral clips truly pop. If you’re familiar with stop-motion, you’re aware it’s a very time-consuming process, and using LEGO makes it even more difficult.
“Every new animation comes with a lot of costs, buying LEGO, things needed for the scenography, video editing software and as I create everything entirely myself, with a huge amount of time devoted to creating and editing animations,” he explains on his Patreon page.
Andrew’s Instagram and TikTok videos only feature the finished product, but he regularly shares behind-the-scenes clips on his Patreon and Twitch.
