When Ksenia Zimenko started to give embroidery a shot in 2017, she had no idea how fast her Instagram page will blow up. She became a true sensation after deciding to focus on beaded embroidery, and she’s using her talent to create the most incredible jewelry pieces.
Zimenko is based in Russia, Saint-Petersburg, and she attracted 120,000 followers since she started sharing her art on Instagram. She gave embroidery a shot in 2017 and started selling her work online just a year later, finding inspiration everywhere around her.
“My main inspiration is northern nature, seascapes, and space! So most of the landscapes in the shop are northern lights, forests, snowy mountains, and celestial objects,” she writes on her Inspire Uplift page.
Zimenko currently only offers necklaces with beaded embroidery pendants, and we’re yet to see her make even smaller jewelry pieces, such as earrings and rings.
Zimenko is the jack of many trades, and jewelry-making is just one of her many talents. She only started making it after mastering the art of beaded embroidery and used her skills as a textile artist to create pieces of smaller scale. She’s also a talented oil painter and mostly focuses on landscape painting, capturing the beauty of woods and the ocean through her art.
