Rustic flower arrangements experienced a true boom in the past few years and Nicole Land is one of the floral artists putting them on the map. Her brand Soil and Stem is all about collecting seasonal ingredients from nature to create something truly amazing.
Land studied fine art and graphic design before turning to floral art, but this proved to be a very natural transition. She used to spend hours taking photos of trees and flowers during long likes with her husband and took this hobby to the next level when her sister asked her to design her wedding flowers.
Land was hooked on floral art from that point on and went on to create countless flower arrangements in the years to come. She describes her designs as spirited, wild, and organically undone and always draws inspiration from her native surroundings.
“There are boundless opportunities to experiment with what nature has given us and to make the most of the products of the seasons by collecting plant materials that grow around us,” explains Land on her official website, adding that we learn to find beauty in the unconventional by collecting plants from nature.
