Richard Wilkinson is an artist based in the U.K. who creates these amazing illustrations of insects that look like fictional pop-culture characters. Being the first one to combine popular characters and insects, he has thousands of Instagram followers who are amazed by his creativity and the way his illustrations turn out.
On his website, we learn that Wilkinson is “a father and freelance illustrator living in Brighton.” He sells illustrations through the shop on his website. Each poster contains an illustration and a short, made-up Latin name of the species he illustrated. In his portfolio, you will see characters like Rick from Rick and Morty, Bugs Bunny, Tweety, Wile E. Coyote, but also many horror movie villains like Jason Voorhes from Friday the 13th and Pennywise the Clown from IT.
