Rudy Willingham Used Latte Art to Recreate “The Office” Intro

The iconic sitcom The Office celebrated its 18th anniversary this month, and one die-hard fan found a perfect way to mark the occasion. Rudy Willingham shared a video where he recreated The Office intro through the magic of latte art.

Willingham’s viral video is just 18 seconds long, but that’s not stopping it from being magical. You’ll be hooked from the very first second once you hear The Office theme playing in the background—and things only got more magical from there.

Willingham made sure to include members of the main cast in the intro, including Steve Carell as Michael Scott, Rainn Wilson as Dwight Schrute, John Krasinski as Jim Halpert, Jenna Fischer as Pam Beesly, B.J. Novak as Ryan Howard, and Ed Helms as Andy Bernard.

Willingham didn’t share how exactly he managed to pull this off, but it’s safe to assume that he used a latte art printer. He revealed that 100 cups of latte art were used along the way, so he most likely employed the stop motion technique, taking a photo of each cup and later editing them together into his viral video.

This isn’t the first time Willingham dabbled in latte art. He also recreated the Friends intro using a similar technique, and music videos by Taylor Swift and Dolly Parton.
