Klod Mande is a digital artist from Russia who likes watching movies. Not just those produced in Hollywood but his homeland as well. So, one day while he was brainstorming about his future project, he came up with the idea to use characters or scenes from one movie and placed them in the other film. And the final results are more than funny.
“I started replacing my own face and those of my friends in a lot of funny pictures, posting on social media. It was a lot of fun for me and my friends,” the artist told Bored Panda. “And so I decided to combine the heroes of Soviet and Western cinema, it was interesting. But at first, I didn’t imagine that this work would fascinate me so much and become so popular on the internet.”
He currently has over 67,000 Instagram followers, and his hilarious digital artworks reach a couple of thousand likes. Mande has done 410 movie mashups and continues to hold its cinematic experiments.
