Until now, our best chance to ride a bike during winter was to go to the gym and get some work done on the exercise bike. Well, thanks to Faster Bikes, not anymore. The company’s new product, called S-Trax, allows you to convert your regular bike into a snow bike. How cool is that?
S-Trax comes with a ski module and a crawler module. The users need to remove the wheels of the bike and install modules on the frame instead. This snow bike conversion kit works on a variety of standard bikes and ebikes, except for those that have carbon frames.
According to Faster Bikes, the crawler has been designed to support speeds up to 15.5 miles per hour and features a mechanical disk brake for easy and prompt stopping.
“Whether sport or fun – with this conversion kit, you have the right equipment to explore the snowy landscape,” shared the Austria-based company in the statement. “The snow bike offers a comfortable, stable riding experience in the snow.”
While S-Trax promises a lot and delivers on many of those promises, it also comes with a steep price. The current price on Faster Bikes’ official webshop is $2,707.88 with a 10-day delivery promise.
