Street Artist Painted a Whole House In Rainbow Colors

Madrid-based street artist Okuda San Miguel is drawn to geometric shapes and vibrant colors. In one of his latest creations, titled The Rainbow Embassy, he painted an old, neglected house transforming it into an eye-popping structure. The project was made as part of the art festival Unexpected, which aims to bring urban and contemporary art to Arkansas.

“This project gave me the possibility to expand on my previous work, adding in more architectonic dimension and completing my vision of mythical animals,” San Miguel shared with Colossal.

While San Miguel is known for his metamorphic projects, he also creates other art pieces that are restricted to his studio. “It is in fact in public spaces where I create the most powerful and direct art pieces, which demand an immediate answer from those who run into it,” he says. “Meanwhile in my studio, I create more profound and detailed artworks inviting the viewer to a deeper insight.”
