]]>As it turns out, the diver started knitting and crocheting as a hobby during the first Coronavirus lockdown. He ended up loving the craft and now takes every opportunity he can to make something with yarn. He even made a dedicated Instagram account (@madewithlovebytomdaley), where he wrote, “Learning to knit and crochet has helped me so much through these Olympics.”
As My Modern Met mentions, Daley revealed what he was working on at the moment the photos were taken—he was making a sweater for a dog client, Instagram famous Izzy the Frenchie. Another adorable thing he made was a tiny Union Jack bag for his Olympics gold medal, as well as numerous colorful pieces for his husband and son.

Amsterdam-based knitting designer Stephen West, who is the cofounder of the online yarn show Stephen & Penelope, is a fan of bold, bohemian-inspired knits. Between the color blocking and chevron stripes, his work looks like an optical illusion that’s begging to be worn.
Who says socks have to be boring? Summer Lee doesn’t think so as her design focus is colorful socks and she’s loves creating fun color combinations. You can even buy patterns of Lee’s favorite designs for just $5.

]]>Sometimes, Jenkins puts funny faces to her foods to make them even more adorable. One of our favorites is her rendition of “pigs in blankets” where she knit literal pigs wrapped in tiny knitted blankest!
“I was always looking for different ways to use my love of wool, textile, and color,” Brown Paper Bag quotes Jenkins. “And that’s how my art was born. The everyday has always fascinated and inspired me, particularly food. So I began to take things we all know and love – like fish and chips—reinventing them in wool.”

]]>He lived in Copenhagen for a year at one point, and while there, he hand-knitted a blanked panel made of typical Copenhagen buildings. The original blanket was made of six knitted buildings, each representing a different city district: Nørrebro Studios, Østerbro Studios, Hellerup Apartments, Nyhavn Hotel, Nørreport Offices, and Frederiksberg Apartments.
