The Great Flooflers is the brainchild of Yan, an illustrator based in Singapore. Since starting her Instagram page, she attracted over 300,000 million followers, drawing the attention of cat lovers from all around the globe.
Yan mostly focuses on drawing cats, and the majority of her illustrations are inspired by the videos she stumbled upon online. The drawings are usually accompanied by videos that served as inspiration, and Yan makes sure to credit original creators whenever possible.
In addition to sharing her illustrations on Instagram, Yan also started an official web shop where she offers a wide range of products, ranging from prints and stickers to tote bags and coasters.
“Doodling these floofy joys started as an outlet for stress relieving and as I got more involved and serious, I eventually move from basic sketch to copic makers and finally into digital illustrations that’ll give me more room in experimenting animation,” she explains on her Patreon page.
