We love discovering people who do all kinds of creative things. One guy from Finland, who runs the Youtube channel Device Orchestra, has now programmed a toaster, a typewriter, and two toothbrushes to perform The Imperial March, a Star Wars theme.

To make things more fun, he equipped all the devices with googly eyes. He also put a pair of eyes on the toast and small Lightsabers on the toothbrushes for complete effect.

“I used a microcontroller and a rubber band to control the electromagnet inside the toaster to move the bread slot up and down. By turning the magnetic field on and off at the frequency of each note I can create up-and-down movements of which by-product is a melody,” he wrote in the video description.

The video begins with him explaining how he programmed the devices, and it’s super interesting if you’re into that kind of thing. There are many ways to artistically express yourself, and it’s fair to say that this guy has certainly made his unique stamp on the world!
