Mayah Aziz is an adorable little girl who surprised her doctors and nurses when she came into the world. The little one was born with piebaldism, a genetic condition where due to the absence of melanocytes, her skin or hair becomes patchy and lighter than normal.
But although the medical staff was amazed at the time, her mom Talyta already knew what was going on. In fact, she and her other family members have this genetic condition as well.
Talyta remembers that her baby girl was an attraction at the hospital. This actually made her heart full, because in her childhood she had been bullied because of her looks and marks on the body.
“Since Mayah was born, she has carried a wave of love wherever she goes. The same characteristic that caused me pain causes tenderness. What makes me happier with all this is that she is an instrument to share love, tenderness, and that being different is cool,” Mayah’s mom told in an interview for Bored Panda.
She also added that she teaches her little girl to embrace her uniqueness in a fun way. The ladies like to dress up in funny costumes, like, for example, Cruella de Vil, who rocks the black and white hairstyle.
