Everyone views art differently, but most of the time, people can agree if some artwork is good or bad. However, in the case of artist tw1tterpicasso, determining that is a challenging task. The reason for this is that his works are so bad that they are good in a way.
Tw1tterpicasso became popular on social media in recent years for his “poorly” drawn portraits. Done with a ballpoint pen, these portraits don’t try to be accurate portrayals. Instead, he keeps only the major features of the subjects and gets creative with the rest.
At first, the artist focused on making portraits of strangers, which he then uploaded on his social media. Over time, he started shifting his focus to celebrities, which is when he really captured the attention of the internet.
It didn’t take long for tw1tterpicasso to increase his fan base and also attract attention from the celebrities he draws. Back in 2021, music star The Weekend used one of his drawings as an Instagram profile photo, which gave the artist further exposure. His social media following blew up after that and he now has close to 230K followers on Instagram alone.
