A pair of beautiful American-style Russian Blue cats named Xafi and Auri are our favorite animals on Instagram right now. They live in the U.K. with their family that includes another cat named Errol, who is a beautiful red Somali. Xafi and Auri are not twins, though they look like they are. Their deep gray fur and emerald green eyes will make you stop and look at their photos before you move on.
Russian Blue cats are known for their short, silver fur, beautiful green eyes, and enigmatic smile, that you just have to love. The American type of these cats is a bit different, with a body that’s smaller and longer, and their fur can range from blue to silver. The breed is intelligent, gentle, and independent. These cats make perfect pets that get along great with the whole family, including other pets. “They are avid shoulder riders and many learn to play fetch like a puppy. Instead of meowing they often chirp, but are generally rather quiet cats,” Xafi and Auri’s website states.
