Growing up watching cartoons, there will always be that sense of nostalgia we feel when we see them, in whichever interpretation they appear. Thankfully, we stumbled across the Instagram page of Heavmadeit, who draws exceptional color illustrations of some of our favorite cartoon characters.
As you can see from this canvas of Spongebob Squarepants, this artist has a very unique flavor. They seem to have found the perfect balance between foundation and exploration, and this is the sweet spot we seek when looking for great art. In our estimation, the drawing holds true to the character’s unique traits, and yet it also adds its own special charm to it.

There truly is something there for everyone, assuming they’ve watched at least one cartoon in their lives.
