Dubbed as the Lego Man, Berlin-based artist Jan Vormann has used thousands of LEGO bricks to patch holes in old structures around the world.
His Dispatchwork project is “a forum to further develop, piece by piece, a global game together”, one that encourages citizens to take back public space and leave their mark in a playful way…”as long as you don’t mind when the structures slowly ‘dissolve’ or ‘disappear’ back into children’s toyboxes,” he told Juxtapoz.
His project can be seen in many countries and he recently participated in the 17th iteration of Nuart Festival. He wants to encourage others to join him in his playful artworks to cities around the globe. Scroll down to see his latest creations.
