David Irvine is an artist/crafter who loves to recycle discarded items and turns them into something beautiful and functional.
He is the owner of online shop The Gnarled Branch, which is “known world wide for my redirected thrift store painting series, I also do a variety of other art projects including paintings on salvaged vinyl records, burnt out light bulbs and unique crafts.”
One of his works includes upcycling salvaged burnt out light bulbs into hand-painted festive decorations. Each ornament was painted with acrylic, given a light spray of gloss fixative for protection.
