Duffy London is a furniture design studio that regularly comes up with some cool innovations and interior solutions. Their latest product follows the same formula, as it is one of the coolest coffee tables you have ever seen.
When looked at from above, the Abyss Horizon coffee table stays true to its name. You get a feeling that you are staring into a deep ocean abyss that floats above the floor. The model is similar to the one that Duffy London presented in 2019 but with a more polished design.
The 2019 version of the table was released in a limited edition, with one coffee table being picked up by the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris and added to the French National collection.
“I wanted to achieve something very pure; a streamlined and elegant Abyss design that accentuates the overall visual effect, the wow factor!” explains Christopher Duffy, the head of the studio. “By redesigning the base section with slim legs to give a more graceful profile, we are also helping to focus the attention on the table-top.”
The updated Abyss Horizon coffee table will also come as a limited edition, with only 25 tables being made available. They come as a combination of birchwood and glass or as White Carrara marble and glass.
