Waffle House Shuts Down TikTok Hacks in a Hilarious Way

TikTok is full of fast food hacks, tips, and tricks. They will teach you how to get cheaper versions of your favorite meals or how to get an exciting dish that isn’t on the menu. Except if you are a Waffle House regular. In that case, you can forget it.

Tired of customers coming in and asking for off-menu items they saw on social media, Waffle House recently decided to shut down TikTok-inspired orders. The restaurant chain has displayed signs in their locations that inform customers they should stick to the regular menu.

TikToker @officialgodbodycash shared the new Waffle House policy in a video posted a week ago. The clip shows a sign on the register that says: “Order from the menu, we are not making anything you saw on TikTok.”

It is safe to say that the news didn’t actually surprise TikTok users. While finding it amusing, many commented that they didn’t expect a place like Waffle House to jump on modern trends.

“Order from the menu. We are not making anything you saw on TikTok,” one user wrote.

“Waffle House don’t even answer the phone y’all thought they was doing a secret menu,” added another.

Some of the popular Waffle House hacks that TikTokers ordered before the ban included waffle sandwiches, steak and eggs with onions, and hashbrowns and eggs sandwiches with sausages and bacon.
