The hero of these comics is—you guessed it right—a bunny aptly named Buni, but what exactly is his story? His creator Ryan describes him as “a naive optimist with terrible luck”, whose best intentions never seem to work, but he still wakes up each day, hoping for the best.
Many of the things we know and love about Buni Comics have been lucky accidents. On his official website, Ryan explains there’s no clear reason why Buni’s world is populated by teddy bears or why the comics he stars in are wordless—that’s just how things started and they eventually became a part of Buni’s charm.
Buni may be the main character in these comics, but we’ve seen Ryan create over 1,000 comics since starting his page, and some of them didn’t feature Buni.
