One cockatoo owner learned the hard way that he shouldn’t ignore his pet bird when it seeks attention. However, his hard-learned lesson resulted in a viral video that has amazed social media users and resulted in more than a few laughs.
The video posted on TikTok profile @tango.the.cockatoo shows a man sitting on a sofa and scrolling through his phone while a cockatoo named Tango is resting on his shoulder. The bird isn’t happy that the man’s attention is directed to something else and begins throwing tantrums.
What follows is a hilarious exchange that features Tango yelling at the man to stop using the phone, arguing with him, and finally saying “sorry” once it gets a bit of attention.
The video became a huge hit on TikTok, getting close to 15 million views and receiving 29K comments. Other TikTok users were amused by Tango’s behavior while also trying to understand everything the bird told its owner during the “heated” exchange.
