Courtnie and Nate Are Perfectly Capturing Ups and Downs of Van Life

Instagram makes it seem like van life is magical and dreamy, with nothing but the open road and your next adventure in front of you… but is that really the case? Courtnie and Nate are one of the countless couples who found social media fame thanks to living on the road, and their blog perfectly captures the ups and downs of van life.

Courtnie and Nate left their home three years ago to move into a self-converted home on wheels. They had no prior experience in renovating vans into functional living units, but that didn’t stop them from building their new mobile home from scratch, equipping it with a toilet, full kitchen, and an outdoor shower.

It took them eight months to put their van together, and this experience took a financial toll on the couple. They didn’t have a lot of money saved up for this project, so they decided to take a loan, move out of their apartment and move into an empty cargo van that they renovated along the way and eventually started traveling with their pup.

“It’s been a long hard road, but the whole experience of transforming our cargo van into our very own cozy mobile home has been so satisfying and rewarding. Now we want to help YOU get on the road and start living your best life!” the couple explains on their official website.
