We all know that cats and dogs tend to butt heads a lot. However, a dog named Kona has recently become an Instagram star, thanks to her big heart, and her love for two little kittens.
When her owner Asa took home two kittens to foster, Chester and Blair, Kona took them under her wing. Soon, their bond became unbreakable.
“I think maybe she sensed that these two were a lot more reserved and undersocialized than the other kittens we’ve fostered recently. She really has the magic touch,” Asa told in an interview for Bored Panda.
Asa then added that the two kittens are still shy and afraid of her, but when they see Kona, they immediately run to her.
“Blair used to try to nurse on Kona the first couple of weeks, I’m not sure if it was Blair’s way of finding comfort in this new environment, but Kona just patiently laid and let her nibble on her.”
Asa has been a foster mom to an astonishing 173 animals, mostly cats and dogs. She loves having animals in her home, and through fostering, she gives back to the animals. Clearly, her dog Kona loves having lots of companions as well!
