Captain America, the Fantastic Four, and the X-Men are among some of the most popular comic series ever created. And now thanks to social media, artists are now able to share their work with a reach of millions. Ellis Rosen is one of those people. He’s a talented digital comic artist best known for his hilarious one-panel comics about the funniest parts of everyday life.
His artistic journey began in his earliest years; he was always attracted to drawing. However, it was only in 2016 that he realized cartooning is his true call. He posts his work on Instagram, where he has reached a following of more than 154 thousand people.
“I make cartoons every week. I try to keep an alarm in my head, one that’s constantly asking ‘Is this a cartoon?’ as I go about my life,” he says in an interview with Bored Panda.
Rosen finds inspiration in everyday life. He writes them down in his notes app, and later he will use them and start sketching out ideas.
“I think if a cartoon makes me laugh, it will find an audience to one degree or another. It’s funny to realize that little occurrences in your life are shared by so many other people. It’s great to see how we are connected,” he added.
