Irina Blok, a Russia-born, San Francisco-based illustrator, is one of the millions of people who are thinking about the year behind us—and how the COVID-19 pandemic has changed our lives forever. As a result, she created these cute illustrations that show how many things in our lives are different now than they were at the beginning of the year.
“Since day one, drawing has been a way to blow off stress and share some laughs with others,” the artist tells Bored Panda. “I work (from home) as a designer during the day, and spend my nights drawing.”
She recently switched from pen and paper to iPad and started creating simple animations that bring her drawings to life. In her series called Covid Life, she focuses on everyday struggles and new ways we live our lives now as most aspects of our daily lives have changed.
