Japanese Food Artist is Creating Show-Stopping Dishes Inspired By the “Peanuts” Comics

Food art can take many shapes and forms, and we’ve seen many creators use our favorite childhood cartoons as inspiration. That also happens to be the case with the Japanese food artist Sana who is taking Instagram by storm with her show-stopping dishes inspired by the iconic Peanuts comics.

With 120,000 followers and counting, Sana is a true sensation on Instagram and she deserves all the attention coming her way. Her dishes have to be seen to be believed and she finds inspiration in all sorts of different places, but most of her creations have one thing in common.

Sana dedicates most of her time to crafting delicious and picture-perfect dishes that pay homage to Charles M. Schulz’s beloved comic series Peanuts. Snoopy and Charlie Brown seem to be her personal favorites, but we’ve seen her pay homage to other characters through her food art over the years.

Sana mostly uses rice to transform her food into Peanuts character, but she doesn’t stop there. We’ve seen her make everything from egg sandwiches and omelets to cookies and dumplings in Snoopy’s and Charlie Brown’s images, and she’s constantly surprising us by coming up with new creative ways to capture these iconic characters through food art.
