Muhammed Sajid is Filling His Intricate Illustrations With Tons of Greenary

If you’re a huge plant lover looking for artists who enjoy including plants and flowers in every work of art they share with the world, you should learn Muhammed Sajid’s name. He’s taking Instagram by storm with his beautiful illustrations that often feature tons of greenery.

Sajid is an illustrator and graphic designer based in Bangalore, India, followed by over 60,000 people on Instagram. Art has always been a huge part of his life because he believes it allows him to talk about things that he can’t always say out loud.

Sajid’s illustrations are usually pretty abstract, but he enjoys drawing inspiration from things around him – including his houseplants, responsible for all the greenery in his illustrations.

“My place is full of greenery and I am inspired by the beauty of my place that is why I try to replicate some of the plants and other elements in my artworks… The things I imagine in my head don’t exist or aren’t real, and so I’m compelled to create them the best way that I see it,” Sajid told Dessine Art.

Sajid is also often inspired by his home country. At the very beginning of his journey as an illustrator, he realized his culture is a part of his identity as an artist, and he started creating works of art that feature natural details, cultural references, and surreal elements.
