San Diego native Dane Chobanian is an accomplished artist, illustrator, graphic designer, tattoo designer, and custom fabricator. However, it is his ability to take any drawing challenge and complete it with flying marks that made him a social media star.
Chobanian, who uses DaynoArt monicker on social media, became famous on TikTok for doing elaborate whiteboard drawing challenges. Most of the time, Chobanian is approached by one of his friends with a drawing requests that become progressively more ridiculous.
For example, in one of the videos, Chobanian is told to draw a king. But after he finishes, his friend comes with a request to make the king eviler and less human-like. This is followed by a series of other ideas, with each being crazier than the previous one.
Other times, Chobanian’s friends will simply come up to the board and draw a weird shape and ask the artist to turn it into a drawing. And every time, an amazing piece of art materializes.
