The post Jenni Pasanen Combines Her Art with AI to Create Amazing Works appeared first on https://everydaymonkey.com.
]]>Pasanen previously used digital painting as her preferred medium, but her approach changed once she was introduced to AI. Since then, she has been trying to come up with ways to incorporate it into her art practice while still being able to express her creativity.
The way this talented artist did it was to start “collaborating” with the AI. Pasanen digitally creates her painting from scratch and then has an artificial intelligence program add another “layer to it.” This results in amazing works that have a dreamy and surreal touch to them.
“For me, creating art is how I express myself. I want to bring part of myself into each piece I make; that’s why I also use a lot of time with digital painting. AI works as my paint and muse; it lets me dive into my imagination, releasing the unlimited playfield of imagination. It’s a beautiful tool, an extension for creativity,” Pasanen explains on her website.

“I think that the most important aesthetic is the proportionality and harmony between colors. I try to create the desired mood by choosing matching or contrasting colors. I prefer a neutral color combination, but it is not an easy combination to use,” she shared in an interview for Ballpit.
She finds inspiration in everyday life, books, magazines, movies, and more. However, he always starts his project with a story, even when she is doing a commission.
“I think adding stories is important in planning and designing a new painting. I hope people who see my paintings also feel the stories through them,” she added.

He began his artistic career when he was a little boy experimenting with various media. However, when he discovered the digital world, he would “try to go as far as possible in the possibilities of design, and for a year I have been particularly interested in 3D illustration and animation.”
“I want to create compositions that are well-balanced, in terms of color or shapes,” he said in an interview for Ballpit. He also added that before starting a project he needs to make a sketch using paper and pencils.
“I always start by drawing in a sketchbook, and little by little I will find the ideal composition. Sometimes I use a graphics tablet, it’s very useful: I need to draw and to start again to find a good composition. Realization, modeling, colors, all that comes after the sketches!”

]]>Marinkoski created a series of impressive digital Roman-style sculptures that are inspired by various ancient deities like Zeus and Saturn and mythological creatures like Sphinx, Cerberus, and Medusa. His artworks are unique in their representation, showing these mythical gods and creatures in an unusual and often unsettling form while incorporating the embodiment of their supernatural abilities.
While working on the project, Marinkoski realized that he could do some impressive works by including other subjects that are not mythology-based. This prompted him to create a sculpture of boxer Mike Tyson that proved to be quite popular among his social media followers.
“The ideas for my work tend to come on their own, when I’m just relaxed, surfing the web, and not trying too hard to think of something creative,” Marinkoski said about his creative process. “I think the best way to get good ideas is to take abstinence of visual sufficiency for some time and then look at some great art.”

]]>“Since the early 2000s, Lui Ferreyra has developed a technique which implements geometric fragments that coalesce into complex color-fields. In their totality, these color-fields call attention to the faculty of seeing itself. Through the classical tradition of oil on canvas, his works depict a break-down of subject-matter in an aesthetic that is evocative of today’s digital-age,” reads his website.
He always uses bold colors and geometric shapes to emphasize the people in his portraits. He always knew he’d become an artist; he had a supportive family who discovered his talent early and continued to work on his talent throughout childhood and adulthood. As he said in an interview for American Express Essentials, there was never a doubt that he’d become a professional artist.
Ferreyra was born in Mexico and moved to the US with his family when he was 11. Art helped him connect with peers while he struggled to learn English. See his work below and find more on Instagram.

]]>“I think bringing digital technology together with art, whether it is painting or photography, is a great development in the field of the arts,” observed Chevalier in an interview with Iconsiam. “I believe digital art can really touch people and allow them to access deep emotions and feelings as well. I think it’s a very interesting art form.”
Chevalier knows what he’s talking about. Born in 1959 in Mexico City, he has focused exclusively on computers as an artistic means of expression since 1978 and is considered a pioneer of virtual and digital art.
“When I was growing up in the early 80s, my friends and I were very interested in Avant-Garde works of the West,” he recalled. “Digital Arts was a new form and I saw that there was so much potential in using the computer as a tool to create art. It was an experiment to create new possibilities in the arts.”
These days, Chevalier’s projects often incorporate generative and interactive virtual reality installations projected on large scale or shown on LED or LCD screens. He also creates sculptures using 3D printers, laser-cut, and holographic imagery. In other words: he isn’t afraid of change and technology, but rather actively seeks it.
“I must say creating digital art is unlike other forms of art, like videos or photography, which are only looked at by viewers but do not elicit tactile interactions,” he notes.
