]]>The viral video posted on TikTok shows a man unscrewing the bolts on the crawl space cover. After hearing some sounds coming behind the cover, the woman behind the camera assumes it’s a trash panda.
“Oh, it’s hissing. It’s a raccoon, “the woman says.
However, before the man can even finish removing the cover, the intruder begins to make its way out. Soon, the cover is busted, and a bear shows its face, at which point everyone starts running away. Despite the danger, the woman can’t contain the laughter, being amused by the situation.
The clip cuts to security camera footage which shows the couple fleeing inside the house while the bear is chasing them.

While finding bears under the house might seem strange, it actually happens more often than you think. Bears are known to like crawl spaces because they are dark and cool. They will get quite comfortable, breaking the isolation and pipes in order to create more room.

“I just walked out to this. Are you ready?” says @leilabellman to start the video before turning the camera to a remarkable scene.
It turns out that her four-legged pet managed to remove the blanket from the couch, tear through the pillow, and bury himself in it. He can be seen comfortably resting while his entire face was covered with the stuffing.
And according to @leilabellman’s commentary, it wasn’t the first time the pupper did this.
Other TikTok users weighed in on the scene in the comment section, with some using the opportunity to get some jokes out there.
“where did you get a couch that eats dogs? my couch just eats remotes and coins,” wrote one user.

Cats are known for being mischievous pets, but Rose shows us that boyfriends can get into their own messes. She draws comics of her loved ones getting into all sorts of trouble. And she’s really mastered portraying a short story in just a few panels of a comic.
How does her boyfriend feel about being made into a drawing, you might wonder? “My boyfriend and cats are my main muse. “I make cartoons every week. I try to keep an alarm in my head, one that’s constantly asking ‘Is this a cartoon?’ as I go about my life,” he says in an interview with Bored Panda.
Rosen finds inspiration in everyday life. He writes them down in his notes app, and later he will use them and start sketching out ideas.
“I think if a cartoon makes me laugh, it will find an audience to one degree or another. It’s funny to realize that little occurrences in your life are shared by so many other people. It’s great to see how we are connected,” he added.

]]>Rubin started creating Rubes Cartoons 38 years ago, and they have grown to a full-blown franchise. According to the artist’s official website, they are syndicated in more than 400 media outlets all over the world.
The success that Rubin had with Rubes Cartoons also helped him land a unique position. In 2018, he became the first-ever Cartoonist-in-Residence at the prestigious Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York.
Speaking about Rubes Cartoons in a recent chat with Bored Panda, Rubin explained that the majority of his works are inspired by pop culture.
“All of this collective pop culture brings us together,” Rubin said. “Whether it’s in motion pictures, books, songs, cartoon characters, or even advertising and commercials. There is so much material there from which to draw inspiration.”
He also added that despite creating Rubes Cartoons for almost four decades, he still enjoys them profoundly.
“To be able to bring a smile or laugh to so many people every day is incredibly gratifying,” he shared.

“We are still laughing ‘with’ and not ‘at’ people. We have built a community of folks who are comfortable enough to laugh at themselves,” he said in an interview for Bored Panda.
Their Instagram profile counts over one million followers, while on Facebook they’ve been popular amongst 2.4 million people.
