The Petite Wanderer Wants to Help Women Fall in Love With Solo Travel

Traveling on your own can seem scary at first, but it’s actually one of the most empowering experiences that you’ll ever go through. Kerry Ireland of The Petite Wanderer learned there’s nothing quite like hitting the road on your own, and she’s now trying to help other women fall in love with solo travel.

Ireland didn’t get the chance to travel much in her youth, but it all changed when she started studying abroad in Spain. This experience opened her horizons and made her fall in love with exploring new countries and cultures.

She went on to visit over 25 countries and fell in love with all types of travel because they all allowed her to go on adventures and explore new places. Whether it’s hostel-hopping or staying at fancy all-inclusive resorts, Ireland is willing to give it a shot.

If she had to pick her favorite way to travel, flying solo would make the cut. She’s a huge fan of solo travel and wants to encourage other women to give it a shot because it’s not as hard or scary as everyone thinks.

“I find that there is nothing more empowering than exploring an unfamiliar place with no one to rely on but yourself. I hope that through my love of solo travel, I can help to inspire other women to take the plunge and do it themselves!” explains Ireland on her blog.
