We all have a favorite artwork, but how often do you get a chance to get it on jewelry? Hanna Hupalo, a Ukrainian jewelry designer, is specialized in turning famous artworks into beautiful earrings. She finds these masterpieces very inspiring and recreates them as bead earrings that are completely functional.
Hupalo’s jewelry is beautiful and can be worn with many different outfits. She and her sister started making jewelry as kids but she never knew it would turn into a successful small business. She specializes in bead earrings inspired by famous paintings like Mona Lisa and Starry Night. Threading bead after bead, she achieves the pixelated look that makes her artworks unique.
We checked out her Etsy store—you can buy these wonderful earrings for $60. Hupalo also sells regular colorful earrings for $20 and creates other interesting designs. With nearly 3,000 Etsy sales, she’s an established seller. “My jewelry design focuses on decorative ornaments of Eastern Europe and other regions. I have also developed unique designs,” she writes. “This work brings me a lot of pleasure and I am very happy when customers are also pleased with the results.”
