Ash Baber is a well-known name on both Instagram and TikTok. The 20-year-old student from the UK became famous thanks to his creative idea of transforming food emojis into realistic deliciousness.
His first try was the popular birthday cake, which was a real success. After that, his followers recommended other emojis for him to recreate. Since then, it became a series with hundreds of thousands of views.
“I never thought I’d be spending so much time looking at emojis like this, but I will say my goal is to recreate them. It’s never to look exact, just because these images are more cartoon,” he said to Insider.
Despite taking a two-year course in bakery, he said that his videos aren’t for people who want to learn to bake. “Whereas when it comes to me, I’ve never made the recipe before. It’s literally me trying it for the first time. I’m just trying to figure it out, I don’t really know what I’m doing,” Baber added.
He is currently followed by over 789,000 TikTok users, and people are obsessed with his baking skills.
