Twitter User Shows How U.S. Presidents Would Look Like with Mullets

Mullet as a hairstyle has a troubled history. Back in the 70s and 80s, it seemed that everyone had their hair cut shorter on top and sides but longer at the back. This included big music stars, athletes, and common folks who wanted to be stylish. Then as time passed by, the haircut was phased out and became even a subject of mockery.

Recently, we have seen a revival of mullets. Some wear it because they truly like it, while others do it as a joke or a social experiment. This prompted Twitter user Cam Harless to team up with Artificial Intelligence and create a series of portraits that feature U.S. Presidents sporting a mullet. And the results are pretty amazing.

Considering that Presidents always tend to go with classic and elegant looks, the addition of mullet completely changed their looks and frankly, made a lot of them look a lot cooler.

“I think I went from not wanting to have a beer with many of them to wanting to have a beer with everyone except for Eisenhower,” Harless told The New York Post.

The reason why Harless would skip Dwight D. Eisenhower is that the AI wasn’t exactly too kind towards the 34th President of the United States.

The social media users absolutely loved this series of portraits, prompting Harless to create prints featuring all U.S. Presidents while also creating cool T-Shirts. If you want to check out Harless’ entire series, you can do in the Twitter thread below.
