The standard-size keyboards are perfect. They are big enough that you can comfortably hit each key with one finger but small enough that they don’t take up much space. But for YouTuber and keyboard aficionado Glarses, every keyboard out there is perfect, and he wants to own them all.
Glarses has an impressive keyboard collection that includes big, small, and novelty keyboards. However, there is one keyboard that he still hasn’t managed to get his hands on: Razer’s giant BlackWidow keyboard that the tech company proudly displays at computer events.
Mesmerized by the giant keyboard, Glarses decided to try and buy one to add to his collection. Unfortunately, Razer wasn’t interested in selling him one, so he had to find an alternative. With no other company selling giant keyboards, the YouTuber decided to build one from scratch.
Crafting a giant keyboard proved to be laborious and expensive since most parts had to be custom-made, from the frame to the electronics. Still, Glarses managed to successfully finish it after working for more than a year and spending $14,500. He also documented the entire project on camera and recently shared it on his YouTube channel.
The video, which has since become viral, showcases all the hard work Glarses had to put in and the amazing results that came from it. It also has quite a few funny moments, so it’s definitely worth watching. Check it out below.
