Amaury Guichon Creates the Most Unreal Chocolate Sculptures

We’re constantly impressed by the ability of people to use different mediums to create massive works of art. Some art is so impressive, we can’t help drooling over the final product. That’s especially the case when it comes to the works of Amaury Guichon, who sculpts impressive life-size creations made out of the sweetest medium there is—chocolate!

At the age of 13, Guichon took an introduction pastry course, and his interest in the food and hospitality industry grew. Soon he was an apprentice and eventually a manager of the pastry boutique, Maison Lenôtre in Cannes, France.

After moving to Las Vegas, he decided to try out desserts and sculpting in chocolate.  “I refined the visual presentations of my desserts, but without ever sacrificing the essential principle of taste. I wanted to create a fusion between French Taste and American Showmanship,” Guichon told Les vergers Boiron.

His works range from small desserts that can fit on a plate to huge larger-than-life sculptures that are made to look like dragons, telescopes, treasure chests, and more! Completely made from edible materials, like cake, fillings and of, course chocolate, these are creations you have to see to believe.

On his social media, Guichon shows his fans how he makes each piece from start to finish. After receiving a ton of attention for these creations from his social media and website, he’s even decided to start his own pastry school to teach others the craft of decorative and tasty art.
