You know how they say that a photo is worth a thousand words? While that might be true, they still can’t tell us the whole story, including what happened before and what happened after. And sometimes we really want to know more.
One of the instances where a single photo is not enough is when we are looking at viral animal photos. Seeing a dog that climbed on a tree and is chilling on the branches is an amusing sight, but it doesn’t tell us why and how it climbed the tree.
In order to answer these and more burning questions, artist Divyansh Sikka decided to start a series of amusing comics that give context to viral animal photos. He aims to tell what happened right before the photo was snapped with illustrations and doodles.
According to Sikka, he has enjoyed wildlife photography since early childhood and always wondered how some of the more unique photos were taken.
“So it came to me one morning, why not use my love for doodling and create a wholesome backstory to these pictures. And I have not stopped since! “he shared in a recent blogpost.
