Anna & Piotr Angiel Capture the Beauty of Canada Through Their Embroidery Art

Canada is one of the most magical places in the world, and one couple came up with a unique way to capture its immense beauty. Anna and Piotr Angiel are creating beautiful embroidery art inspired by their hikes and travels all around Canada.

The Angiels are based in Calgary, and their creations are mostly inspired by the beauty of the Canadian Rockies. Their pastel-colored hoops perfectly capture the ice-capped peaks, alpine lakes, and understated peacefulness of Canada’s most breathtaking mountain range.

Their hoops capture all sorts of beautiful places scattered around Canada and the United States, from Mount Robson and Moraine Lake to Zion Canyon and Delicate Arch.

Anna and Piotr Angiel started working on embroidery by each other’s side because it allowed them to mix their two “superpowers” into one. While hiking and traveling across Canada, Piotr would take photos of the most scenic places they came across, and Anna would later translate them into embroidery art, equally stunning as the landscapes themselves.

The Angiels are on a quest to popularize embroidery as a cool and modern hobby. In addition to selling their own original artwork, they also offer DIY embroidery kits and PDF patterns for everyone trying to recreate their work and improve their embroidery skills.
