Artist Illustrates 12 Zodiac Symbols as Portraits

Horoscopes are not everyone’s cup of tea, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have a beautiful illustration of your sign hanging on your wall!

Cloudy Thurstag is an artist we found on Instagram who illustrates gorgeous portraits using a limited color palette. Her latest project includes 12 zodiac portraits based on the signs and you can buy them in her Etsy shop.

“Letting yourself go and lose yourself in the moment is what I love about illustration,” the artist writes on her site. “I switch from analog to digital all the time – when the ideas come I use pencil and paper, but for the realized illustration I work entirely digital. A lot of subjects are displaying a longing or an emotion being close to nature using cinematic colors to create an atmosphere to get lost inside.”
