Artist Makes Child-Friendly Illustrations About Things That Are Happening in 2020

Let’s be honest. We didn’t expect the new decade to bring us as many troubles as it has. A worldwide virus, lockdowns, and remote jobs are only some of the things we were hit with since the beginning of the year.

That’s why Daniel Sulzberg, a talented illustrator and father of two, created artwork with the intention to help everything make more sense—but in a more positive way.

“There are so many important values and ideas that I want my kids to think about, and my hope is that these little drawings will be something they treasure during their childhood and can use as a compass to guide them when needed,” the artist shared on Instagram, before adding that his project is now a book which he’s giving away as a free download.

Sulzberg hopes his fans will be inspired to donate to a nonprofit organization called CALM4Kids that helps children who have been part of any kind of trauma.

Some of his illustrations include a dragon taking a deep breath, a girl taking some time to be alone, a child hugging his parent, and teachers “doing their magic”. However, Sulzberg has drawn countless others, all with the purpose of uplifting and inspiring children all around the world.
