Alexis Ferrer is a Spanish hairdresser who developed a unique approach that makes his works stand out among the crowd. Using the techniques he developed himself, Ferrer is printing colorful and complex patterns on the hair of models, celebrities, and clients that result in some stunning hairstyles.
Ferrer started experimenting with hair printing back in 2012 but really launched into the world with a 2020 collection La Favorite. For this collection, Ferrer printed flowers, butterflies, and other motifs “inspired by palace gardens in 18th century France” on the hair of multiple models. It ended up being a huge hit and gave Ferrer, already Spanish Hairdresser of The Year, further recognition.
Since then, Ferrer continued perfecting the hair printing technique and has showcased several other collections. His hair prints can be washed, styled, and even ironed without disappearing. They are loved not only by models but also by his everyday clients and celebrities like Jeniffer Lopez.
“A perfect blend for the new generation who are looking for new boundaries of fashion,” Ferrer said of his works. “Once again, it shows that everything in fashion remains to be invented and to be innovated.”
