Chef Laura Lee Cooks Up a Storm While Traveling the World

Being a chef has a certain degree of adventure to it. You’re constantly experimenting with new recipes, trying new things, and trusting your gut. It requires a certain level of passion, and thus it stands to reason that any chef would be open to other kinds of adventures too—and not necessarily ones that exist in the kitchen. In the case of Chef Laura Lee, she likes to expand her horizons in that regard.

As she states on her Instagram profile, she’s not only a “wine country chef”, but also a “world traveler”. She adds below that she creates “unique culinary experiences” in Sonoma, Napa, and Monterey, finally concluding that she’s “eating and drinking my way around the world.”

We simply love everything about her bio, because it clearly communicates that she has a clear focus in life, which is the culinary arts. However, it also expresses that she has other interests, such as travel. But the kicker here is that she’s not separating her two interests, rather using them to complement one another.

Oftentimes it can be hard to find time for more than one passion. An ideal way to make it work is to combine the two, and that’s exactly what Lee has masterfully done with her life.
