Jee-ook Choi is a South Korean illustrator, and her background in the world of art is pretty impressive. In addition to running a successful Instagram page @jeeeoook, she’s also been creating magazine and book covers, posters, and sketches working with such world-class clients, as Apple, Spotify, and The New York Times.
Jee-ook Choi’s creative talent started brewing during her childhood years, which she spent surrounded by rural landscapes. She moved to the city when she was seven, and her outlook on life significantly changed after this big shift. She’s still trying to keep her sense of innocence alive through her work, constantly searching for unrealistic beauty through her illustrations, which she describes as “completely independent from the external world.”
